We should take our own advice

After reading The Burkster's "playing dead" column about the PRO, he needs to get out his No Whining clothing, stickers, etc., read it all, and follow its advice - No Whining! The racers are in business to make money, and if they agreed with the NHRA on another 4-Wide, so be it. Stop complaining!!! Enough already!!!

Bruton should take a tip from Bader

Burk, nice article about Déjà Vu!

But let’s talk about this press release, how many times do they want you to whip someone’s ass before being declared the winner? What kind of JACKASS came up with this? Bruton and his little toy soldiers need to stick with roundy-round racing and keep their nose out of our business! We do not need some moron building tracks and thinking that gives them the right to reinvent the sport. Why doesn't he try sponsoring a couple of these teams if he really wants to help the sport along? When it comes to what this sport needs to be successful, I would be more likely to listen to someone like Billy Meyer, or THE MAN OF MEN, THE GREAT BILL BADER of NORWALK FAME!

Why doesn’t Bruton or NHRA offer the fans the money back GUARANTEE like we have at Norwalk, and have had for years! That would be putting your money where your mouth is. Don’t get me wrong, I certainly do not profess to be the answer man, but NHRA and Bruton need to SHUT UP and LISTEN UP JACKASSES.

Well, thanks for this awesome publication, Burk, and keep it coming!

He’s cutting back on events

Burkster, once again you are right on! I have been going to the drags for over 40 years, and I agree wholeheartedly with your latest blast. "I think the lack of competition, not enough new teams and drivers, too much down time, and the high cost of tickets are major factors" are the factors which I have considered cutting back on the events at Pomona. The change for the countdown would be good.

Thanks for once again having your mag being the word like it is.
