And a few other things…

Jeff, I must say that your "Just Wondering" is right on the money. I have read nothing that is not the truth and look forward to each version you write. Also love the daily updates/news.

When Steve Evans was doing NHRA Today it was right and worked. The man was a legend.... I like Mike Dunn, but unfortunately he is definitely protecting the NHRA and has become a bit boring, although his knowledge of the sport is excellent. I have not liked Paul Page from day one when he replaced Marty Reid.

Ticket prices are shameless. Pomona in particular with the parking costs and the food costs has had me going only on Thursday, really for no other reason then I like to see the fuel qualifying on the cheapest day. The cost of parking at Pomona really pisses me off.

The Nostalgia fuel racing is where it is at and I was telling my wife this before you put it down in writing. I get a lot more pleasure from it. Bakersfield etc.

I love your honesty and your website is the best. Far and away better then NHRA.com, or anything out there for that matter. Excellent work. Thank you again.

Keep the show moving along

Drag racing is my favorite thing, but the TV shows have been going downhill too long. No complaints with any announcer not named Paul Page. But I’m sorry, Pro Stock and bikes are boring, Pro Mod should be a pro class, and cut the show down to 1.5 hours like in the Diamond P days.

Bow-wow

Just wondering when everyone is going to realize that ESPN2 doesn't give a damn about our opinion. Can't even watch racing for the ladders being posted across the screen as the cars are taking the green. Sickening. AND Paul Page again and his doggies. He should be at a dog show, not drag racing.

Another good showing for Dixon and Massey. Good for Beckman on his birthday, much better than Force cars and the noise that would have followed. Hell, Ashley talks so fast now that you can't even understand her. Too bad her lights aren't up to par with her mouth. Mike Edwards needs to keep his head up high and not second-guess these defeats. His lights have slowed and he needs to go back to just kicking butt.

Just wondering how many idiots believed that the "Crying Buzzard Harleys" were not sandbagging. They knew how much they had in the bank before the twenty pounds was added.

It is a shame that no one has jumped on the Nostalgia Pro Stock bandwagon yet. However, some folks have never heard a four-speed car shifted properly and run in the low nines. Beats the hell out of a 'glide.
