Kudos to Jok for his Safety Rant! NHRA can impose all the equipment in the world, but if the drivers don't use it properly, it's all for naught in the event of an accident. Again, kudos to Jok, and good to see him back in Stock Eliminator. :)

Jok; yes you’re right, so much for the rules. It's just for us who follow them and spend our hard earned money to comply to the safety standards we adhere to.

Hey there, Mr. Burk, thank you for putting my photo on the cover (Fast Jack at Sacto).
As a former service member, I have had a chance to go to the Middle East. If you drove around a little you know SOME of the people that live there got a whole lot more money than skill. Driving in the UAE & Kuwait is sorta like driving in TJ.
Thanks for all you do.

I was wondering. With the announcement of a nostalgia Pro Stock circuit, how long before we start seeing some pics of some of the cars that are being put together for this class? We've seen nostalgia dragsters and nostalgia funny cars, how about some 1st generation Pro Stockers? As always, just an idea.

Fun issue, Jeff! Mid-eights out of stock-appearing see-dans, coupled with three-second potential from the "top" cars means a return to local creature features. Congrats to the St. Louis community.
Kudos also to Rich Carlson's continued high-quality photos.... I could 'smell' Austin's car at Spokane through your fine work.

Hi from Australia! Just want to let you know that Mark Sheehan from Western Australia has run a 5.026 at 289.02 in Nitro Funny Car. So congrats to Spuffard on his run but it's not quite the quickest non-Gary Densham time outside North America.
