Good pictures of the hot yellow Ford Pro Mod. Unfortunately, you got the year model wrong. That is a 1949 Ford, not a 1951. The 1949 & 1950 models had the center grille bullet with a round cutout in the upper grille bar. And the 1949 parking lights were small oval type while 1950 had rectangular park lights. The 1951 had a straight upper grille bar with two smaller bullet ornaments. But then, you young folks couldn't know that. Only us old goats who thrived on hot rodding those era cars would have immediately recognized the error. But it's still a good series of photos.

Once again, I salute DRO contributing PHOTOGRAPHER PAR EXCELLANCE Gil Rebilas for his incredible flip sequence of the Blown Fuel Jet boat at Elsinore. No one wants to see boats destroyed or drivers injured... but I sure do appreciate QUALITY photo coverage like this!
Kindest regards.

Good shots of the Ford on fire, and good for those BB/Funny Cars making their own circuit. I guess there is some excitement left in this old sport.

PHENOMENAL!!! The best image that I have seen in captivity in the 40+ years that I have been involved in the sport. Thank you.
