Too much Force even in DRO?

Hey Burkster, three points:

1. ESPN2 NHRA broadcasts: I agree, too much Force too often. But have you cruised DRO lately and taken a Force count?

2. I disagree, Paul Page should stick to destruction derby & hot dog eating contests.

3. NHRA, for profit or non-profit, the key word is profit, they are a US business no better than any. The "glory days" of drag racing are gone. Give it a rest.

Respectfully yours,

Well, just a little more

Jeff, just wanted to say I loved the John Force stories. Any one of them could've been the winner.

Great idea for a contest!

How about a lovely Stella Artois?

RE: Bernstein and Bud to Part Ways...

Hi Agent. No surprise to me either. That doesn't mean it sits well with me. Personally I think the InBev decision to discontinue sponsorship of AA/FD sucks. Bud's been part of motorsports for as long as I can remember. I'm 65. O.K. InBev, this one's for you. As of today. I quit buying and consuming any Budweiser product.

But they fired the sports marketing agencies too

I would suggest that some ad agency, not engaged in Motorsports Marketing, has convinced the new owners that they have a “much better way” to communicate with consumers. The decision was not based on consumer input, but rather the (lack of) comfort zone of the agency. I'm betting that the agency reps and creative types don't know a Drag Slick from a bicycle tire. If you have InBev stock, sell now.
