Can’t keep up, old-timer?

Pure bullshit, this guy is a stupid old fashioned redneck. If you reduce the speed, you reduce the fans. Fans want to see cars go 300+. If this nut wants to see smoke, try the town’s parking lots with the young drifters. I pray this guy is not on any board, if so I’ll keep my car and fans at home and go fishing. Every year I take at least 150 of my bike club’s friends and family to the Atlanta Dragway.

The answer is speed.

Listen to this: 85% of the fans are under the age of 35.

Speed, speed, speed, speed.

NO, JOK’S THE ONE THAT’S DEAD ON

Just read Burk's blast and have to say I agree 100%. Don't always see eye to eye with Mr. Burk but this article is dead on.

Re: NHRA testing rules

NHRA can't remember where they came from. What about all the great match races that John Force and the Snake, just to mention a few, did? That’s how they paid their dues. I think NHRA is trying to start a gated community; before you know it you will need a financial statement to prove you can fit into this racing clique.

I have become a big fan of the outlaw racing circuits. Yes I love nitro cars, but ADRL has a great racers program. You are accepted for what you are, not your financial backing and what you can do for them. The ADRL in my eyes is going to steal the show away from NHRA.

Living in the upper northeast, our season is very short but we can travel five to six hours to compete or watch quality racing. This year is going to be even better with injected nitro cars in Pro Extreme as well as turbo cars. It seems funny how the ADRL will have full fields with quality cars waiting in line to get in. Our hometown two-time Pro Mod world champ has even jumped ship and is running for the Pro Extreme world championship.

NHRA, can you see the light or do you need a seeing-eye dog?

Been there, done that, Kathy

We need more women in the pro ranks of drag racing to make drag racing more exciting. I get very tired of the male pilots. Let’s bring in Melanie Troxel, Hillary Will and other females that want the chance to pilot an F/C, T/F, or a Pro Stock. I’ll tell ya, this will bring the crowds into the NHRA grandstands...
