Was happy to see the picture of the "Revolution" funny car I built for Ed McCulloch back in 1973 at my Northwest Race Cars shop. As an aside, in the picture Kenney Goodell is driving Wendell Whites car in the other lane. Ed's car came on the heels of the Pizza Haven car I built for Twig Zeigler.

Hey, I haven't written for a while since I got fired up over NHRA's lack of foresight and their ability to turn about as quickly as the Queen Mary when it comes to change for the better. (OK, I'll step off the soap box for a minute.) You have a wonderful site here and I continue to enjoy everything about it.
I also think that your article on the AHRA is fantastic! (Back on the box now.) Since the NHRA is putting info about UDRA wins in the Drivers Bios, then they ought to put the AHRA wins in there too. The same racers showed up at both sanctioned races. It puts the old timers at a disadvantage for career wins compared to after AHRA's demise. We need to start a lobby for this to happen. Let’s face it, the NHRA is better because the AHRA forced them to be. That is what competition does! (Back down now.) I am looking forward to more AHRA history on your site.
Keep up the fine work! What you do here is much needed and appreciated. Thank you.
Best regards,

In reading the info about 75-80 reopening in Frederick, MD I saw that it was famous for introducing Ronnie Sox to the rest of the world. Well my friend, not to belittle my ole buddy Ronnie BUT I’m thinking it may be best known as the track that created the brainchild Down Under that became their Wild Bunch and then their Top Doorslammer and we both know where that lil’ deal went!
