Burk, I read and edited your recent blast....
"I want a time machine." That pretty much says it all for me as well.

A great column, Jeff. One of your best.

Greetings Jeff, just read your "What I wish for Christmas" and it seemed I was reading my own writings! You hit every nail squarely on the head. My neck is sore from all the nodding in agreement. Then after I sat back and contemplated your calm and logical observations I began to wonder why "the powers that be" just don't get it? I wish there was some way we could all speak with some sense of authority and convince those in charge that's it's not that complicated to give the people what they want... even if you have to compromise a little.
Hey, all the best in 2010 to the ass-ylum that we love called Drag Racing Online.

Hate to say it, Burk, but going to downtown Detroit to see the moved racing museum is a risky, risky mission (carjacks/rapes/robberies). The city is out of control. Has been run by thugs for years! Just check how many mayors/counsel peeps are in jail. I will bid so long to the museum now as I know what's coming. Those cars will be on blocks in no time.
What a reminder... I am watching NHRA's greatest races (1983 US Nationals) on Fox Sports today! I forgot just how good McClelland and Evans were. Kudos to Fox, keep 'em coming.
Happy holidays to the whole staff. I'm looking forward to 2010 on the site.
