What’s going on with J.R.? Do you think he will see any action this year? I can't believe that Jr.R. hasn't picked up a ride. A guy that got Rookie of the Year only racing half the season. I don't get the logic of Morgan Lucas’s thinking. He must be crazy to get rid of a guy that brought the only win to the team last year. I think he might have got more wins if Morgan could have kept him with the same crew chief and not ten different ones. I forgot we live in a political world.

Rick... Eric Rickman was one of very first heroes in Drag Racing. As a mere child I wanted to be like Eric. In 1977 I got to be honored by being promoted to the position of Photo Editor at Hot Rod Magazine. Rick, you will be missed my friend...

I just discovered your web site, today. OUTSTANDING! I have been a huge drag racing fan since 1967 when I was a senior in high school. After serving in the Army from 1968 to 1970 and getting wounded in Vietnam, I started a 4 year drag racing expense with a 1971 Chevy Nova @at National Trailways Raceway out of Columbus, Ohio. Four of the best years of my life! I have been hooked ever since!
My disability over the years has worsened to the point that I can no longer race, but I am a big time spectator at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix, Ariz., where I live now. I feel very lucky to have been part of the early years of the likes of Don Garlits, Shirley Muldowney, Don the Snake, Tom the Mongoose, Sox & Martin, Tom Landry, Raymond Beatle, and my favorite, OHIO GEORGE MONGOMERY!!!
I could never afford a National Dragster subscription, but now I do not need it. YOU HAVE MADE MY DAY!
See you at The Arizona Nationals!
