SPEEDING AWAY FROM ESPN2
Last year’s telecast of NHRA drag racing had something to be desired. I could see ESPN forcing 1/8 racing in order to have other sporting events as darts, spelling bees, cheerleading, etc. The latest coverage had a lot of yack and how many times do we need to see and hear, hear, hear, hear Force and company.
Thank God for the remote. It is clear to me that ESPN doesn't want drag racing especially 3 hours on Saturday and 3 hours on Sunday. Break the contract and move over to the Speed Channel. No delayed broadcasts and the programming competition between IHRA and NHRA would be great.

MONGOOSE BEATS PAGE IN A MATCH RACE
Get rid of Paul Page! He is pretty much useless as an announcer! He asks some of the most stupid questions and makes some of dumbest comments I believe I have ever heard. He don’t know squat about drag racing. Surely there is some retired drag racer that would help out Mike Dunn he does a super job. I used to hear Tom the Mongoose announce at Indy; he done great job! Please anybody but P.P.

MORE WAITING IN THE WINGS
Jeff, I have had good customers fire me, and I would fret, but lo and behold, one or two new ones always show up to take their place.
I agree completely with your views on this article.
Good work as always!

KEEP WHACKING AWAY
Dear Jeff, I have been a drag racing fan for over 40 years. I attended drag racing on the east coast when the races were started with a flag man. I have never read anyone that consistently "hits the nail on the head" the way that you do.
One thing I have learned in this life is that when you speak the truth, people will get mad at you! Many, many people can't handle the truth. Sorry that you have lost an advertiser, but I applaud you for your views.
Sincerely,

BUT BURK LOVES NOSTALGIA
Jeff, do me a favor and don’t go to the March Meet and tell me what a terrible time I had. You need to step back and watch the show.
