Top Fool 101, or, Drag racing 2009 for dummies.
Fact 1: from 24, events only 13 teams made the call at each event. The rest averaged 3 events.
Question 1: How many events were won by non-Schumacher-owned cars?
Question 2: How many of last year’s top teams have lost sponsorships?
Question 3: And how long will Joe Dragracer put up with this unbalance that has turned T/F racing to a sideshow?

Street & Smith’s SportsBusiness Journal's recent claims to the IHRA as a "Potential" property has made the IHRA heads very proud of themselves... do they not realize that it is based of the last couple years of performance and growth? Or do they think it’s based on the new "direction" they are taking the IHRA? Maybe it’s just me, but I would stick to the past game plan that has semi worked: classes and event structure, and expand those. And pound it into the new owners that they need to continue in the original direction for growth and PROFITABILITY.

Handing out trophies and shooting off fireworks two races before the end of the season is crap. Why can't NHRA wait and do it all at Pomona, or did they forget that's where it should be? It takes away from the main race event when the crowd is waiting for another pair to go down the track and the T.S. of the event are trying to do an interview and say how great things were all year while the engines are screamin’.
Whoever figured the trophies and checks should be given out before the end of the season should be fired!

Hi, I'm doing a physics project in drag racing. And my question is: what is the physics behind drag racing?
