Burk’s missing a few brain cells #1

Hey Jeff, I enjoy your coverage of the ADRL. The best drag racing series on the planet. One small point on your story. You keep referring to the team Titan car as a Dodge Scion. Scion is made by Toyota. Keep up the good work.

Jeff: I am wondering how old you are. Have you been calling the cars Norm Wizner raced in the 1990`s, 1957 Crown Victorias for 20 years without someone calling you on it? They are 1956 Crown Victorias; they don’t even look alike.

If you have anybody there over the age of 40, ask them to identify it. A lot happened before you were born! Keep up the great work!

Charles Carpenters car is a ’55, not a ’56.

“Charles Carpenter, the last of the competitive nitrous oxide-injected shoeboxes, got his ‘56 into the three-second club with a first round 3.989/184.60 lap and then stepped it up to a 3.987 in losing to Jim Halsey’s 3.940/189.15 pass in his first-in-the-fives-on-nitrous ‘68 Camaro.”

The above caption is incorrect; Carpenter’s car is a '55 Chevy, not a '56.

Look at the tail lights, that's a 1955 Chevy! Jesus, I might not know much, but...

A not so reasonable approach

Well when you start whoring yourself out to things like RACE FANS FOR CHANGE you wont have to worry about me ever coming to your site again.

In reference to your mentioned political ads, remember our friends in Congress?

When they made the so-called Truth in Advertising Law, they EXEMPTED themselves, so now we have to listen to all their lies of what they really will not do.

Check their voting record to see what they have done. Cut campaigns to 6 weeks before we vote and lets get back to racing...
