NOW THAT WOULD BE QUITE A TV SHOW
If they wanted a real reality show, they are a few years late as in the summer around Jungle’s house and mine with all the tourers staying over
Levitt, Burgin, Beadle, ”Water Bed,” Segrini, Austin, Jenkins -- but then they probably would not find a station to play it.
Oh, the good old days. Keep up the good work.

WAY OUT THERE, MAN
I just wanted to take a minute to say how much I enjoy Cole Coonce's work. Infinity over Zero was a great ride.

THE SLOW DEMISE OF NHRA AS WE KNOW IT
It is truly sad to see how the old tradition of NHRA drag racing is slowly being degraded by the three-ring circus that we see these days on the ESPN coverage and NHRA online. The constant chatter about "marketing partners" and seeing individual fan seats removed to
make way for sky boxes, as well as the latest attempt at drawing crowds with the "Driving Force" show just gradually adds more nails to the NHRA coffin.
I still can't wait to tune in each weekend to see the qualifying and racing unfold. But I don't know how much longer I can put up with all the other crap that NHRA shoves in our face along the way. I certainly don't tune in to see a microphone stuck in someone's face in the hopes of seeing them embarrass themselves after a tough loss, or to see a team owner changing shirts after each race.
I guess the days of "Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. . ." are long gone. Steve Evans will be forever missed. Maybe the solution to my dilemma is to just attend more races in person so I don't have to watch all the garbage on TV? Trouble is, northern Michigan is a long way from NHRA country!

WHO IS THE ORGANIZATION SUPPOSED TO BENEFIT?
I see NHRA is proudly bragging about their box seat project at Pomona. Who cares besides NHRA? Will you or I ever sit in them? More chance of you than I. They are rubbing the racers’ noses in the dirt that they are not spending one penny on the track, the timing equipment, the pit area, better rest rooms, better concession areas, roofs over the "regular" spectators, but only box seats for fat cats who are yet to be named.
I think it stinks!
