TRACTION CONTROL?
With the proven professionals having problems with their cars, how can someone like "the girl" jump into Pro Stock and compete without some kind of traction control device.

IT'S GOLDEN
No more whining T-shirts? Hmmmm. At first, I didn't understand...Who wouldn't want to hear a 14-71 whining? Ahhh, I get
it...you mean whining...like complaining. Guess I've spent too many years with blower cars. Don't know bout you, but right now I'd love to hear some whining.
The Golden Greek induction is long overdue! A "small c" icon of the sport, always there, never high profile...but like I said, always there.
I saw his entourage at the '05 Canadian ACDelco Nationals...with a 20 year old Chapparall hauler, older tow vehicles, damaged awning etc. Compared to the other teams his was/is...well...less well funded. BUT in NO way am I denigrating CK; rather I am praising his effort, because after all these years, he does it 'cause he loves it. End of story.

CLUELESS IN GLENDORA?
Since today is the SuperBowl of Neckcar, I thought I'd give my personal take on the NHRA. It seems that NHRA is happy with the status quo and the piss-poor bottom line. For weeks, I've seen the commercials for the
Neckcar season opener. It's a big deal, I guess. But, how many spots did Powerade buy, or how many spots did the almighty ESPN give to our season opener? Not a fkn' one. You see, the NHRA is blind to reality.
They keep pouring time and money into a foreign car race series that no one gives a fk about, instead of growing a pair and getting with something like Pro Mod that can actually put people in the seats, and maybe even bring in a profit. They are way too busy trying to figure out how to screw some car owner out of sponsor money, or get them to sponsor a race or become an official sponsor of the NHRA. To me, who is an NHRA member, and had a SuperBowl-type party for the Winternationals at my house, I am sick and fkn tired of the half-ass attitude that the NHRA now has. Start asking for your "partners" to do something other than talk a good game, and quit trying to jack your own people over, and welcome Pro Mod, nitro Harleys, and things we really want to wee, and run non crowd faves like the Super classes, (which everyone who I know as fans of NHRA think suck), on Friday or Saturday, or only at Lucas Oil points meets.
I love the NHRA, and only want the best, but they are clueless as to how to bring the sport to the next level, in my opinion.
When I want a real scoop on the NHRA, I don't go to the company mouthpiece (National Dragster), but come to you for the real deal, the truth, good or bad. Keep up the good work.
