Paul Page is an embarrassment to the profession of announcing. Why can't ESPN and NHRA figure out some way to work Bob Frey's on-track commentary into the broadcast
instead of subjecting us to Page?

IT’S IN THE MAIL
I just sent ESPN an email telling them it is a big mistake having Paul Page do all 23 POWERade telecasts. He butchered the shows he did this year and we got lucky having Marty Reid do as many shows as he did.
If you agree with my opinion of Mr. Page let ESPN know ASAP. Google "contact ESPN" and fire off an email.

WHO’S NEXT?
Wondering who the new Director of Top Fuel and Funny Car Racing is going to be. There are a lot of Real smart ex-top fuel and funny car racers, and some really smart retired or unemployed crew chiefs out there. How about Roland Leong, or Dick LaHaie, or Don Garlits, etc.
Anyway, it is just a lucid thought that I just had.
