NO SANDBAGGING

I race IHRA Top Dragster #9325 and I could not agree more on the subject of dial ins. The way it is now you can qualify well into the top half of the field, then back your car down and dial one tenth slower than the slowest qualified car. THIS IS NOT THE SPIRIT OF THE CLASS. You should have to dial within one tenth of YOUR QUICKEST qualifying ET.

With enough support we can put an end to sandbagging during eliminations, and put on a better show for the crowd.

Thanks.

WHO IS WATCHING THIS STUFF?

In today’s Agent 1320 column there was an article on Top Fuel driver Clay Milligan becoming a host for a new TV show airing on Speed TV called "Blow it up". It seems to me the idea of this show is to run a motor until it blows up utilizing what seems to be burnouts, laps and anything else having the car in motion.

My question is this: Who is going to take responsibility if someone gets injured or, God forbid, killed while doing this?

It seems hard enough that a person can handle a car at a high speed sometimes when the car runs flawless. What's going to happen if you add the possibilities of oil from a blown engine adding to the track while the car is driving?

I think the producers of this show need to rethink the ways that they can perform this task

SELLING OUT?

Blowed it up... What a pity real racers like Clay Millican are suckered into legitimizing such foolish non-reality, lame, sewage that the networks are feeding to the clueless as if it were crack cocaine. Same goes for Tommy Kendall and Set-up. Looks like most everyone has a price at which they'll compromise their good judgment and reputation. This stuff is repulsive.

TOO PERFECT?

Perfect runs? Not impressed. Try to run the number without all the electronic B.S. That’s called tuning and driving, remember that?
