GET THE WORD OUT!

Will Hanna hit the mark dead enter on this subject. It has been a pet peeve of mine for years why these tracks are too lazy to advertise the biggest race of the year for most of them. I know all about the back gate deal but it’s like leaving money on the table. By getting a crowd out for the divisional race it would help their other races. It is sad when track management is content to just make whatever he can of the racer.

NHRA and Lucas should step up to the plate and require that a minimum or $$$$ be spent to promote the race.

What I see coming down the pike is not pretty. If we don't enhance the value of the division race the TAFC & TAD classes will be on the outside looking in and wondering what happened!

STRANGE, BUT FROM THE HEART

I just read Chris Martin's strange commentary on the passing of Wally Parks. In spite of all the cosmic babble, Martin's final words for Uncle Wally were both coherent and sincere. Good job, Chris.

BUT DIDN’T K-MART BUY SEARS?

Schumacher's new sponsor probably has to be Target. Poor old K-Mart is struggling to stay alive. Wal-Mart is so cheap that they would want Don to pay them for being his sponsor.
