Mean Street was another three-car field, with Don Baskin getting the number one spot with a 9.96 at 132. Gary Duncan was second on the Q ladder with 10.18 at 128 mph, and third was Benny Smith who ran 10.21 at 130 mph. Baskin of Covington, Tenn., got the event win by first getting a bye into the final, then he took out his teammate Smith in a 10.08 to 10.32 heads-up match.
In other action, Open Comp saw Mike Rickman take out John Mackey in the final. In Late Model EFI Al Corda won over Alan Kasper, and in Nostalgia Super Stock, Kevin Gass won over DW Hopkins. Nostalgia Muscle Car was owned by defending class champion Andy Warren, who took out Larry Fleming and lastly, True Street's overall winner in Bowling Green was Greg Mayton who had a 9.12 three-run average.
