Eleven of the best Nitro Funny Cars and nine premier Top Fuelers that NHRA has to offer rolled into Palm Beach International Raceway February 4 and 5 for a PRO-sponsored pre-season test session. Following on the heels of the previous weekend’s IHRA Nitro Jam, fans witnessed two great nights of spectacular runs.
FRIDAY
The track had been closed to the public the entire week leading up to Friday afternoon so that Alan Johnson and the Al-Anabi Top Fuelers of Larry Dixon and Del Worsham could have the track to themselves. They were loading the racecars back onto the transporters when the first fans arrived at the track on Friday.
