Gaylen Smith’s “Bounty Hunter.”
Hot air and an equally hot track surface make for very ugly qualifying sessions with a whole lot of shaking going on. The qualifying times ranged from Taylor's 3.836 at 195.14 to Gaylen Smith's bump spot 4.675 at 114.57. Several Texas Outlaw Pro Mod Association regulars who normally would qualify couldn’t solve the combination of a hot track and bad air and were unable to make the eight-car field.
