We had a large group of photographers submitting photos from the Winternationals. As a writer/photographer myself I’m inclined to believe that a good photo often trumps good writing when trying to tell the story of a great race. So with just a few captions, here is the 50th Annual NHRA Winternationals as seen through the lenses of the photographers attending the event.  -- Jeff Burk

Haddock's Hot Seat

New DRO contributor Jennifer Stewart sent us this sequence of Northeast privateer nitro racer Terry Haddock “torching” his fuel coupe in qualifying. Both Terry and the car returned to race over the weekend.
