Outlaw Anglia rounds at the NSRA meetings tends to draw a few runners not usually seen at the mainstream championship drag racing rounds, one the more retro examples of which is the Anxious Anglia gasser of Steve Harrison, period perfect from the nosebleed stance to the buggy wheels at the back.

Rick Hooper’s big block E04A Anglia is much more of a street sleeper with the subtle race graphics on it’s flanks and a 509 ci stencil on the bonnet giving a hint at the wheelstanding power that lies beneath.

The Gasser Circus provides a great collective of high standing doorslammers that fit in well with the nostalgia theme of the meeting.

Jamie King’s topless 64 Corvette Stingray smokes the hides whilst the paint scheme glistens in the sunshine.
