Don Pires, Jr., Dighton, Mass., racked up the Stock Eliminator win in his ’97 Firebird, beating the ’69 Camaro of veteran racer Scotty Richardson, Barbourville, Tenn., in the final. Beaver Springs, Pa., racer John DiBartolomeo (near lane) beat Michael Daymude of Hedgesville, W.V., in the Super Comp final.
