Cody Barklage christened the new Outlaw All Stars program by breaking his own eighth-mile track speed record with a 3.84/198.79 blast in the semi-finals of Outlaw Eliminator. The Missourian’s Lucas Oil ‘67 Firebird led qualifying at 3.96/195.56, as well.

Chris Webster’s skyscraping ‘90 Mustang wasn‘t the quickest car in the Super Street field but the 408-cubic inch Ford won a thrilling “all-over-the-place” final round bout with “Cuda” Johnson’s Ford.

Above: The sleek Buck-powered, nitrous-aided ‘67 Camaro of Mark Daly burned a piston on its only qualifying pass in the Outlaw division, coasting to a 4.44 at only 138.51 mph.

Right: There was no shortage of wheelstanding action at the Outlaw All Stars; Steve “T” Truman spent most of the time in the air while his ‘93 351 Mustang ran low nines at over 147 mph in Super Street.
