Steve Gibbs dropped by Dragfest to enjoy the party with his grandson Steven Arias.

Making exhibition passes was this sky high, straight-axle, set back engined, supercharged, 4-speed ’55 Chevy with the driver sitting in the back seat.  Unfortunately the vintage tilt front-end gasser broke on this run.

You can’t see wheelstanders battling down the quarter mile anymore, but Dragfest featured Ed Jones in his classic fire truck versus the Pick-Your-Part Cameo pick-up.

There’s so much to see at Dragfest from drag strip competition to the car show and back-up girls.  Mark your calendar for Rod and Kulture’s Dragfest 3, it’ll be well worth the trip back in time.
