The Super Stock final, which was the final race of the day, was interesting as the winner was Gary Richard (Bay Shore, N.Y.), part of the P.C. Richard family. He drove his ’07 Cobalt to the win as runner-up Norm Hall (Waldorf, Md.) fouled at the start.
Super Comp had the weekend’s only local winner as Joey Cambria (Reading, Pa.) drove his dragster to a pass of 8.911 at 158.45. Ed Meyer (Carlisle, Pa.) was slower off the start and then guaranteed Cambria’s victory with a breakout of .755.

Dennis Gaborlault (Millbury, Mass.) took the Top Sportsman trophy in his ’07 Mustang as Glenn Teets Jr. (Manassas, Va.) was a no-show in the final.
Clint Walters (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) won Stock Eliminator in his ’67 Nova as Christina DiBartolomeo (Beaver Springs, Pa.) fouled at the start.
Earl Nichols (Wilmington, Del.) won a thriller in Super Gas. He took his ’78 Corvette to a pass of 9.901 at 147.13, just .001 off his index. The margin of victory over Ed Alessi (Howard Beach, N.Y.), who ran 9.9.13 at 155.49 in his ’63 Pontiac, was just .0047 seconds, or about 13 inches.
