Larry Morgan’s Pro Stocker heads to the NHRA Tech line with a new graphic treatment on his Lucas Oil-backed Mopar, he’s now carrying the infamous Rod Shop livery where the Ohio veteran got one of his early starts in drag racing piloting a four speed small block Challenger.

Away from the Pro’s, longtime Ford racer and former Stock Eliminator Champ Jim Waldo from Richland, Washington will compete in the Winternationals with this 331 cubic-inch ’08 Mustang prepped by Brent Hajek Motorsports. 

So far we’ve counted a half dozen of the new Mustangs in the sportsman pits.  Hopefully with cars like these, winning on Sunday will once again translate into selling on Monday for Detroit’s automakers.
