UEM Super Twin

After a season rumbling around the AHDRA tour, Svein Olav Rolfstad returned to the UEM series in determined fashion onboard his blown Fast Cat. Qualifying at fourth with a 6.904 was a tale on it’s own (the track crew made a number of visits to return push rods to the Norwegian pit), and Rolfstad stepped up the pace in eliminations with superb consistency in the 6.7s, including a 6.750 to 6.763 to defeat Lorenz Stauble in the semis (Lo having set the class track record to a 6.548 in the first round) and then a 6.720 to take the event win over Hans Olav Olstad in the final.

It was a good weekend for the Hawgs Toten club with Hans Olav Olstad qualifying third with a 6.824 and then staying in the sixes throughout eliminations to meet up with clubmate Rolfstad in the final round. A 6.923 wasn’t enough to take the trophy, but a semi-final 6.683 took ET bragging rights back to the clubhouse.

UEM Pro Stock Bike

In the absence of the usual hordes of Swedes in Pro Stock Bike, Alund’s Fredrik Fredlund is doing a good job of pitching for the UEM crown in his second season in UEM competition. Qualifying second behind Ulf Ogge’s G2 Buell (class low ET at 7.321), Fredlund used a massive holeshot over Ogge in the final round to take his first European event title on his GSXR.
