ACU Bike Action

Top Fuel Bike action saw five riders try out for a spot in the field although Rune van den Berg was shutdown with a fluid leak prior to making his only qualifying attempt and Ian ‘Rush’ Carruthers didn’t manage to get enough track time to see his license signed off on Dave Newbury’s bike. Steve Carey qualified low on the (now) straight running Purple Princess and Steve Woollatt (far lane) blasted out a mid six to take out Ian Turburville (near lane) in the only side-by-side pass completed during eliminations.
