Leif Andreasson was yet another European racer to spend time stateside during the off season and the Swedish Armed Forces/ESAB Dodge Stratus ran a 5.726/248 off the trailer to head the TMFC field by a considerable distance and make a start on getting the team back to their championship dominating form of the late 1990s to early 2000s.
It’s a long way from Finland to England and Jarmo Kuutniemi made the haul with his ex-Andreasson Camaro and found the startline bite to his liking. With the next FIA Championship round at his home track at Alastaro, Jarmo will be looking to improve on his high 5 second PB but will take valuable qualifying points from the opening event.
