Danny Cockerill got just a little bit out of shape in his first round match up with Bruno Bader in Pro Modified. FIA Pro Stock Car

When the four-time champion manages to find time to crack out both ends of the FIA Pro Stock Car records in two qualifying sessions (the marks now stand at 6.766/204.95) the rest of the field must wonder what Jimmy Alund is going to serve up for the rest of the season in the Klintberg & Way GTO. However, the huge investment in the latest NHRA gear is evident throughout the field as a new record bump appeared with Jonas Dantanus taking the honours at a 6.944.

One racer who can certainly run with Alund is Richard ‘Nixxon’ Sundblom who departed the 2007 season when he wrecked his Cobalt at Mantorp Park. Since then Nixxon has been investing heavily in NHRA know-how and picked up a Rick Jones-built Cobalt and powered into number one spot with a sub-record 6.730/203 in the second session.
