Kevin Winters used the best Reaction Time of Pingel Super Eliminator, (0.012), to dispatch Jay Wagner in the final round. The Hal’s Speed Shop bike also ran 10.92/109.69 on the 10.90 Index!

Bruce Croneberger hit Low ET of DragMasters Hot Street, (9.83), but needed only a 10.00/133.57 in the final when opponent John Burdynski stumbled after semi-final 9.91/134.73 on a 134.58 World Speed Record.

Donnie Huffman’s outrageous crossed-up launch style didn’t affect the exceptionally consistent RTs of his ‘04 Sportster in the last three rounds of the Screamin’ Eagle Performance (SEP) category. Final round opponent Dale Nilles had a worst RT of 0.037 in eliminations but his Buell slowed well off the 11.50 Index in the trophy dash.

The only round of Screamin’ Eagle Destroyer in which Douglas Horne was the quickest was the final where he stopped Nick Gonatas, 9.21/142.91 to 9.23/141.15. Horne won the best race of the eliminator, however, when he nipped ’07 World Champ L.E. Tonglet (far lane) on a holeshot, 9.243/142.39 to 9.242/145.23! Destroyer bikes must compete with every nut and bolt exactly as it came from the factory. Ronnie Fensick tapped the 145.66 mph Speed Record with a 146.26 blast.
