The No Hair – Firecrest Camaro of Jon Morton carries the number one plate for Super Gas and the five for Super Comp in 2008. The numbers might change for 2009 after Mort went all the way in the 8.90 bracket (defeating Pete Cresswell in the final) and dropped out in the second round of 9.90.
Pete Creswell wasn’t too disappointed with his runner-up finish in Super Comp as a few minutes earlier he’d nabbed the Super Gas title when Frank Mason committed a rare deep stage foul. The big names in .90 index racing are already looking strong in 2008.
