Here’s a rariety, and a truck that fits right in with the Bonneville speed week. According to a passerby we just happened to hear, it’s a ’35 Dodge pickup. I wanna tell whoever owns it, “Don’t change a thing.”
Chandler Young of California owns this six-cylinder-powered ’39 Chevy, hoped to go 163 mph on Bonneville’s “short course.” He bought it from long-time racer Harvey Jackson, converted it to the salt.
