Southern California straight axle proponent Paul Soliz was at the wheel of his newly completed ’49 Chevy Business Coupe. A small block Chevy powers the car. Soliz and his crew had completed the transformation to a straight axle gasser just a few hours prior to the event.
This “show-n-go” Chevy-powered street machine made numerous passes down the drag strip.
