Although he missed the field with a 4.80/154 best, past IHRA Top Sportsman World Champion and current NHRA Division II TS killer Ronnie Davis announced he will pursue the next ADRL Xtreme 10.5 title with his nitrous-aided TS ‘63 Stingray on ten-wide tires!

With a best of 4.41/160.50 and a slew of great RTs, young Blake Housely began his Pro Nitrous racing career in fine fashion. While father Terry beamed but admitted, “You can’t imagine how nervous I am watching him run”, the two-time IHRA Top Sportsman World Champ got a pat on the back from nearly every driver in attendance…even before he won the Kennedale World Finals title. The kid was just plain elated.

Although tire shake kept it to a best of 4.41/163, Annette Summer’s twin-turbo behemoth always had the crowd cheering. Any more power would simply sling the tires right off the rims on the starting line!

Bryon Rich managed a respectable 4.12/170 from the ever-popular “Christine” ‘58 Fury but the car is still a handful. The SGMP fans loved it although most would’ve been hard-pressed to identify the body style!
