Ron Weems, in his Toy Factory Pontiac GTO built by Rick Jones Race Cars, is going after Rich Zerring who took the number one away from Ron last year in Outlaw 10.5 class racing. Weems broke the class record ET of 7.13, running a 7.09 during qualifying and then going 7.088 during the last session.
![]() Weems and crew chief Sonny and engine builder Andy of Outlaw Racing Engines had the Pontiac GTO running great all weekend and in the final round Weems got the win over Rod oxford and reset the ET record once again, running a career best of 7.082 and his best MPH ever 198.45.
