The 38th annual ACDelco NHRA Gatornationals went off Mar. 16-18, at historic Gainesville Raceway, where Tony Schumacher and Ron Capps double-dipped the winner’s pool for team owner Don Schumacher in Top Fuel and Funny Car, respectively, while Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) became the season’s first multiple winner and Karen Stoffer rose from the last-place qualifying slot to win in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
