Another supercharged outlaws entry giving the crowd a real show was Paul Cannuli’s purple Torana thanks to its crossed up burnouts and wheel-hiking leaves. Cannuli turned out to be pretty much on the money ET-wise as he went three rounds, finally falling to Diona Day’s dragster which went on to the final.

Ben Gatt has been a Ford man through and through driving various gas and supercharged entries for some 40 years, however here he is seen at the helm of a blown big block Chev-powered HQ Holden. Despite the change of loyalties Gatt actually ended up winning the Supercharged Outlaws bracket despite getting a tad squirrelly on a burnout or two.

From this wheels-flopped position you would be right in thinking that veteran Modified driver Alan White had a handful when his
T-bucket came back to earth. Despite this predicament White got back on the straight and narrow and ended up winning the
bracket.
