Next pair put the famed green "Nanook" of the entire Hough family with Vince Generalao at the controls versus the “Arizona Thunder” team of Mike Hilsabeck of Tucson, Arizona, getting some help from Coors Light’s Rod Hynes.

There is a lot of history on the “Nanook” side of the program with former driver Rick Hough now the crew chief (seen below), with dad Dave as his consultant and Fuel Altered promoter with his wife Linda. Uncle Vince (Rick’s brother-in-law) took over the driving chores after Rick’s accident in Gainesville in March.
The Hough’s could not be more pleased with Vince's driving ability, as Linda Hough stated, "Vince is a great driver, he is as close to having Dave or Rick in the car as possible.” She added, “We are so glad he is our driver and he's in our family!"
In round one Vince showed that extremely sharp ability tying the best reaction time of the night (.033) with his nephew James Generalao in the “Impatient” AA/FA. Vince ran an easy 6.26 at 233.84 mph for top speed of the Nostalgia-style FA's, while Mike Hilsabeck just hung on for a sideways 9.22 at only 88 mph.
Speaking of Rod Hynes (above), the likable red-headed fuel altered pilot from the 1960's and ‘70s says he wants to make a comeback next season. The McGee stuff that he used to campaign back then plus an FED dragster are for sale to help bankroll next season.
Vince and Rick Hough’s nephew, James Generalao from Las Vegas, was next up with his family AA/FA, and was not to be denied as the bright young driver cut the great .033 light. He then ran his best-ever ET for the “Impatient” family roadster at 6.18, clicking it a bit early at 218.73 mph, over a completely sideways and shutting off Bob Godfrey in the “Flamed Fortune” 8.20, 158 mph. 10,000 RPM Nitrous backs the Godfrey & Close “Flamed Fortune” T, which usually dons its flopper body. “Impatient” is totally maintained by James Sr., his wife Andy, James Jr. (with his girlfriend Mindy Jones), with phone help from their consultant Dale Pulde.
