Having been victorious on his visit over to SCR for ACU competition back in April, Stefan Iwanowitsch was looking to break into the sixes with his ex-Bill Furr Dixie Hammer Harley to complete a 51st birthday celebration. Unfortunately, the Dutch Genesis team struggled to keep both cylinders lit for the full quarter and an early 7.50 represented their best effort rather than the promise of things to come.


Riding a very steep learning curve on the Mr. Spokehead Overhill Harley debuted at the beginning of the season, Ian Turburville ran his first seven second pass on a 7.799 that showed the benefit of time spent crewing on the UEM Super Twin tour over the previous month.
 
Representing the event organisers, HAMC England, Vaughan Foster finished 3rd in national points in 2005, but has been an infrequent competitor in 2006; the Bulldog representing something of a test and tune for the Suzuki GSX and a new PB on a eight zero pass suggested things are heading in the right direction and the sevens are just a nudge away.
