A. After a season of frustration with the ZX-12 Funny Bike, Tim Blakemore took the event win over Shaun Branch's supercharged Suzuki. Blakemore now moves into second in the points and consistent 6.8's will give Neil Midgley a chase in the final two rounds and please sponsors Kawasaki UK.

B. After missing the previous two events, Steve Carey moved into third in the ACU Top Fuel Bike championship, benefitting from the absence of Steve Woollatt who had torched a head at the previous round and out-running Ian Turburville on his new Nitro Harley to take the event win.

C. Paul 'Grumpy' Watson wasn't quite living up to his nickname after qualifying on pole in ACU Pro Stock Bike, despite suffering from a knee injury all weekend. A victory over a red-lighting Len Paget in the final round gives the Dynospeed Developments racer a solid baseline to work on before tackling the European Tour in Scandinavia next month.

D. Graham Dance took the event win over Steve Venables with a string of consistent low eights and high sevens, proving there is still life in the nitrous set up in Super Street Bike, despite burgeoning numbers of blower and turbo equipped entries.

E. After a lack of entries meant the dropping of his usual Super Twin Modified class, John Hackney decided to take a pop at the Super Twin Top Fuel field onboard his TL-1000R streetbike. A whiff of nitrous proved to be less destructive than the pop in the other entries and he took the trophy in an uncontested final round. "You'll have some problems trying to report that" beamed Hackney.

F. The screaming 500cc two-stroke Yamaha of John Floyd was again the class of the SuperTwin Gas field (run under the auspices of the National Association of Super Twins) taking the event win over Jerry Collier with over half a second in the final round ETs, although the hot conditions prevented the usual dip into the eights for the bored out RD400LC.
