Super Modified was a bit of a barnstormer, with mid sevens galore from the single carb'ed doorslammers. At the end of some fast and close racing, number one qualifier Rob Smallworth emerged on top with a holeshot 7.696 to a 7.673 decision over Rob Millward, substituting for Graham Ellis in the Ellis Racing Cutlass.
Anna-Louise Stanley took her first win in Junior Dragster over Scott Hauser, both finalists coming from families with a rich racing history, respective fathers' Conrad (Super class racer) and Geoff (ex-Fuel, Pro Mod and now one of Europe's foremost chassis builders) looked on with expert interest.
