Iwanowitsch's Dixie Hammer did enough to take back the spoils to Holland on one of his far too infrequent trips to UK championship rounds.

NAST Supertwin Gas saw the surprise appearance of Jerry Collier onboard a Suzuki TL 1000; a very different ride from the screaming two strokes he usually rides, and when final round opponent John Floyd dropped off his eight second performance level (a best of 8.870) on his two stroke Yamaha, it set up a family victory celebration.

Jerry's nine year old son Scott worked his way through the Junior Drag Bike field on his 50cc replica of his father's world record setting two-stroke to join his father in the family victory presentation.
