Neil Grant in his Zephyr (near lane) faced off with brother John (far lane) in his 100E in an all-Ford final round in Super Street. John, the 2005 class champion, prevailed to take family bragging rights back down the short motorway trip to Bristol.

Outlaw Anglia saw the only major incident of the meeting when Ian Norman's transmission exploded with terrifying force to put the nine second Ford Pop out of action, the mess around the transmission tunnel and footwells leaving observers dumbfounded, and a (fortunately brief) trip to the hospital to treat a broken foot.

Although slightly off his usual seven second pace, Paul Wright was once again "the Guv" in Outlaw Anglia, the blown methanol Chevrolet urged the short wheel-based Pop to some of the longest trips seen down the SCR quarter mile and the class win over Steve Wells.

Somewhere in the burnout smoke is Helen Smythe who piloted her Hell's Belle altered to victory over Sarah Howells Destinys Angel altered in an all female final in the Wild Bunch d-y-o nostalgia bracket.

qualifying sheets were headed by Becky Evans'  perfect RT, but Walters worked his way through the field to the final round with extremely consistent numbers; the win light was handed to him by Charlotte Watts' breakout.

Neil Midgley once again proved to be the class of ACU Funny Bike, heading the qualifying sheets with the only six second passes and then avoiding the mechanical carnage that accounted for the rest of the field giving Midgo the opportune to stage to take a significant points lead into the summer rounds.

Competition Bike rookie Kev Charman was another to sweep the board onboard his Ken Cooper prepared Suzuki with mid seven second passes being enough to outlast the unfortunately thin field.

In what is hopefully his last meeting renting the BigCC Hayabusa, Steve Venables kept in the points chase in ACU Super Street Bike with a runner-up finish to current points leader Jamie Sneddon (who reset the track record at 7.756). Venables's championship winning Kawasaki has now left the US after a prolonged over-winter fettle at Velocity Racing.
