Mississippi Outlaw Jason Scruggs’s ‘Vette is one of the lightest cars on the circuit. The Corvette also has a Hemi topped with a “screw” supercharger. The car ran 3.89/194+ twice, which was two-hundredths quicker and seven miles per hour faster than any other car in the pits. Since traction control isn’t illegal in ADRL competition most people believe the car has a unit and also may be a direct drive car also.
Todd Tutterow qualified his '02 Mustangs in both the Pro Extreme and the Pro Nitrous classes. The Pro Nitrous car uses a bigblock 727-cubic inch Ford combination and the Pro Extreme an Alan Johnson small block Chevy. The Pro Nitrous car went to the final round; the Pro Extreme lost in the first round.
Former AHRA Pro Stock hitter Delon Joseph qualified his Chevy Cavalier into the Pro Nitrous program.

Number 1 plate holder in Pro Nitrous, Dan Parker qualified in the middle of the field and lost in the second to Burton Auxier.

Thanks in large part to his two record-setting numbers, Jason Scruggs  jumped from ninth to second in the ADRL Pro Extreme points standings. He has 944 points and trails only current leader Mike Neal (1,033).  Stott will move into second place if he wins the Gateway title, just  three points behind Neal.

Todd Tutterow became the second driver to qualify in both classes at the same ADRL event. Shannon Jenkins pulled off the same feat at last season's first Valdosta, Ga., event, and did so when both Pro  Extreme and Pro Nitrous had eight-car eliminations fields.

The three ADRL events contested in 2006 have featured 12  different finalists, the most possible.

Keith Baker took over the Pro Nitrous points lead from Johnny  Pilcher. He'll take a 1,039 to 942 advantage into Memphis.

Tutterow was just one of a large contingent of drivers to qualify  for their first career Pro Nitrous show. He was joined by Aaron Hodges, John Deflorian, Pat Stoken, Dennis Griffin, Delon Joseph, and Dan Saitz.
