Billy Glidden ripped of a fine 6.957/198.80 to take the top spot in Outlaw 10.5.
Tom Conway was breaking in rookie driver Kate Harker (Steve harker’s daughter) in the Steve Torrence ride. She ran 5.46/263 in round 1 and lost in the semi’s to Dave Hertzman’s 5.43/263.77. Kate carried the front end to about 400 feet where she lifted and shut off.
