It was a pair of Levi's in the grand finale of the MT Tires Wild Street race. Levi Hanna who had been the top of the class setting both Low ET and Top Speed with his 1990 black Mustang form Cypress CA at 8.048, 175.52 mph. Levi Ballog just looked like he was along
for the ride till Scott Oskas broke in the semis so that made it a pair of Levi's. But as fate would have it. Ballog's New Mexico based Stang broke on the burn out so Levi Hanna

blasted to a fine 8.202, 174.03 mph and the winners circle ceremony.

CRT TRIPLE INDEX

For this event, Mel combined all the 8.60, 9.60, and 10.60 index cars and it was a great turn out. At the end of the long class, Lacey, Wash., based Butch Wells drove his 1966 chevelle to a 9.612, 141.39 mph for the win over a very close Joseph Landavezo of Peoria, AZ who broke out at 9.530, 139.46 mph. Tom Easterday's Mopar was the top qualifier.

ORME BROTHERS OPEN COMP

The largest class was the Orme Brothers Open Comp class, with a pair of great champions coming into the fianl round. Mike Nordahl's Fontana Ca based Chevy
Vegas, which is the reigning PSCA champion for 2006, just did edge out Mesa AZ's Brian Webber in the final round of eliminations. Nordahls trophy run was a 10.521, 136,76 mph to team Webbers Camaro which settled or runer-up with numbers of 10.167, 122,28
mph. Another PSCA champion Mark Rapp was the number one qualifier.

ACT AUTOMATICS BRACKET #1

What an exciting version of Bracket #1, with all the toughest competitors gearing up for next weekends garnad bracket finale to be held at LVMS on thanksgigving weekend. local talent Bryan King in his 2003 Chevy S-10 Truck walked away with the trophy and cash at 7.917, 170.11 mph over Peoria Az's Gary Cox and his 1969 Camaro at his 9.988, 132.65 mph.
