Another car we really liked at Primm was Grant Fraysier’s hand built all-aluminum “Hummer.” Grant took almost three years to build this unique vehicle and it is immaculate. The body is an absolutely accurate copy of a stock body but with an all-aluminum, carbureted 604 c.i. big block under the hood. The vehicle weighs in at just about 3,600 lbs. Grant drove the Hummer to a semi-final finish in Pro 3 on Friday and went rounds again in the class on Sunday. We wanted to do a feature on the car but they were too busy racing. Look for a feature on the car in a future issue of DRO.

Hunter Buettner was the winner of the Pro 1 bracket driving his buggy to the win over Bill Swimm in the finals.

Phil Soper drove to the runner-up position in the Pro 2 class on Sunday, losing to Mark Punos in the final round.
