Mike Moran aborted his late evening run and will remain in the #1 position in Pro Street with his field leading 6.153 at 246.57 MPH.  Michael DeMayo leads Hot Street with his Mustang having run an 8.243 to lead his class and Al Jimenez comes from the #1 slot in Wild Street having run a 7.563 in qualifying.

The final round of Pro Street qualifying ended after 9:00 PM local time with a lot of frustration from drivers, crews and the promoters. With multiple oildowns, a couple of crashes and a visit or two to the Top End sand trap the Strip at Las Vegas crew did their best to restore the racing surface, but unfortunately with the late hour the track surface had chilled to the point where a number of Pro Street teams pulled out of the staging lanes rather than risk a pass, particularly if a team was already qualified.

Because of the late hour and track temperature, the staging lanes, filled with Extreme Drag Radial and Outlaw Street were sent back to the pits and will make-up the lost sessions on early Sunday morning, a disappointment, however the only workable solution given the circumstances.
